Thai Food / Pad Kra Paw

I had been craving for some Thai food after eating Chinese food for some time, so I ordered 'Pad Kra Paw' with rice. In Thailand, it is spelled as Phat Kaphrao, a popular ala carte dish you can find almost everywhere there.

It came with this type of packaging. Then, I poured them all into a plate for easier eating.

It's main ingredient will be your choice of meat. Here, it is chicken, stir fry with garlic and Thai holy basil, Thai fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Usually, it is served with rice and a fried egg. This one which I ordered from a chain restaurant called Johnny's has its specialty - it was added some baby corns and diced French beans, which it added the fresh taste of vegetables to the dish. Not to forget, quite an amount of chillies, making the dish spicy and full of 'oomph'! On the downside, this dish isn't very suitable for children due to the amount of chillies, unless you cook by yourself, then you can omit the chillies.

This is indeed a very tasty and flavorful meal, but will also left you feeling very thirsty. I don't mind at all, it sort of motivate the camel-me to drink more water. Haha!

Have you tried Phat kaphrao before?

Thank you for reading. Take care. Stay bubbly.
