Afternoon Ice Cream Fans

After writing about Cadbury Double Decker Ice Cream yesterday and how extraordinary it was, I wanted to tell you about the Snickers Ice Cream. My husband had this one when I had the Double Decker ice cream, however I did manage to get in quite a few spoonfuls of his. This is what I thought.

Snickers Ice Cream

So I managed to scoop out a decent sized chunk of ice cream out on my spoon. The ice cream didn’t taste much of peanut butter at all. There was only a hint of flavour. It was nice coming across the chocolate crunchy peanut pieces, but I felt like this needed much more chocolate flavour. I think this would have been better if they had separate peanut pieces and chunks of chocolate in the ice cream, not chocolate covered peanuts. There was some caramel and chocolate sauce, but again not enough to warrant this ice cream being like the chocolate bar. Another improvement I would say is to have chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce and peanuts. Pretty disappointing.

Well, I was expecting a bit more from this after I had such a great experience eating mine. I do feel like the flavours were a little lack lustre. It was nice with the spoonfuls that I did have, but it wasn’t good enough to put me off my Double Decker one. I think if this had more flavour to it, it would be just as good, but I did feel slightly let down as I had high expectations for this one.
