Wanted to tell you about this little fruit flavoured delight I had the pleasure of devouring. I bring you the Magnum Double Raspberry.

Magnum Double Raspberry Ice Cream

Usually I prefer tubs of ice cream in front of a film or something I’m engrossed in watching. This one though was good for just something sweet at the end of the day. The ice cream looked lovely and smooth. The chocolate casing was a gorgeous rose pink colour and it seemed a shame to eat it. As with the majority of Magnum lovers, the rule is to eat all the chocolate round the outside first, and that’s exactly what I did, with the few bites here and there. I wanted to taste the chocolate and ice cream as a whole. The chocolate had a great sweet chocolate flavour. I thought it would taste of raspberry judging by the colour of it, but in a way, I’m glad it didn’t. Why? Well because the ice cream afterwards was just beautiful. Such a great raspberry taste. I really liked the raspberry sauce underneath the pink chocolate outer layer too. Gave that extra raspberry kick! Yum!!

Normally I don’t go for fruit flavoured ice cream, but as this is deemed a luxury ice cream, I wanted to give it a try. I was so pleased that it was a very fruity flavour. Some cheaper alternatives promise you flavour, but all you get is something weak. This one lived up to expectations and I would certainly have this one again. Definitely one for a hot summers day.
