My regular readers / followers will know how much of a sweet tooth I have. I wasn’t overly happy with the M&S Salted Caramel Chocolate Spread, so I decided to have something that I know and love well. Today I bring to you M&S Redcurrant Puff.

M&S Redcurrant Puffs

”Light and flaky puff pastry biscuits with a smooth filling made with redcurrant juice. Store in a cool, dry place.."

These are so light and and flaky as described. I love the shape of these puffs and the redcurrant fruity jam centre. The centre isn’t sticky, it’s more of a ’solid jam’, but it’s not hard if that makes sense. You can see your teeth marks in it when you bite into it. Saying that, I usually pop these puffs in whole, because I’m a pig like that! The puffs are sweet and on top there are sugar crystals. They remind me a little bit of ’Frosties Cereal’ which I’m not even sure you can get anymore. Either way, these puffs are yummy and I can easily finish a box.

I love these and I have had them for years, although it was an awful long time from when I last had a box of puffs. M&S used to do blueberry puffs too. They were so good. I don’t know why they stopped doing them, because in my view, they tasted nicer than these ones and that’s saying something because these redcurrant puffs are so damn good! If you are reading this M&S, please bring back the blueberry ones to the shelves.
