Chocolate Friends,
This Snickers White has been sat in my chocolate box for months. I finally got round to having it. This is what my thoughts were.
Limited Edition Snickers White
"White chocolate with soft nougat and caramel centre with fresh roasted peanuts"
I didn’t choose this bar myself. I don’t normally go for your run off the mill confectionary chocolate. As it was there staring at me, I decided to at least give it a try. The bar didn’t look quite right with white chocolate. It looked like a completely different bar. It still had that thick chewy bite. The nougat tasted good and I really liked the crunch of those peanuts. The caramel brought this bar together. It was sweet and nutty and gave your mouth a proper workout. The only thing I would say is that I found the white chocolate made it taste far too sweet for my liking. I only had a couple of bites before binning the rest. Too much sweetness going on.
This is another one of those ’If it’s not broke don’t fix it’ times. Why try and be clever and mess with something that is already good and then spoiling it? I’m glad this is limited edition as I wont be seeing it on the shelves anymore. Not one I would have again whether it be limited edition or not.
