Again, I thought this donut was going to have a lemon sherbet kreme filling. I was wrong! Much to my surprise, it had a lemon curd and a sherbet centre. The lemon icing on top was zingy and this with the tartness of the curd and the sweetness of the sherbet was just amazing. It reminded me of their Lemon Meringue donut that they’ve had off the menu for a while. I didn’t think I was going to like this one much., but I loved it! I think this was by far my favourite!
Definitely saved the best until last! The thing is, I didn’t want the other hearts bought for me along side the three donuts in the Valentine’s Box as I didn’t want to be eating donuts all weekend. I was going to have them another weekend. So glad my husband bought me the other two hearts. The Purple Love Heart and this one or I would have missed out and I would have been gutted to miss out on the Yellow one.
