Good Afternoon Donut Friends,
This was the last donut that I had out of Krispy Kreme’s Limited Valentine’s Box. Of course there had to be a chocolate donut in there and here it it. It just wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Pack without a chocolate one.
Krispy Kreme - Green Love Heart

When I saw this donut advertised, I thought it was going to be like the centre of their Chocolate Dreamcake Donut or like one of their other chocolate filled donuts. I was wrong! I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into this donut. The centre was like a light, fluffy chocolate mousse. I have never seen a filling so airy before in a donut. You would expect something so light not to taste of much, but this one had a really lovely chocolatey flavour to go with. I couldn’t stop going ‘Mmm’ Every time I took a bite. My mouth was fully of fluffy chocolatey goodness. I think this was one of my favourites. Also at first glance the green icing wasn’t that appealing either, but after seeing the filling, the green colour grew on me too. I think I must have fallen in love!
I really hope Krispy Kreme bring out some more chocolate donuts with a centre just like this one. It was just so good and so delicious, I wish I had more, but they are off the menu now. Please bring back this filling… please!!!
