Hello Donutters!
It’s been weeks since I had a new donut to eat, and then Krispy Kreme dropped this one a week or so ago. I have had this one before, but it was a pleasure to see it come back, as this one only comes back once a year. Here it is! The Happiest Doughnut! All in aid of National Happiness Day!

What I really love about this donut is it’s smile. I mean it is so cheery and the bright yellow face and rosy red hear cheeks makes this donut a beauty to look at and it also brings a smile to my face. Seems a shame to eat it, but it is a donut after all! I love the brightness of this donut. The yellow really stands out in the cabinet and it’s also my favourite colour. Last time the heart cheeks were missing, but I was pleased to see them there this time. The donut was so light and the filling was great! They really filled up the donut with it’s delicious white, fluffy kreme. I was in heaven eating this beauty!
If only Krispy Kreme kept this donut around for a least the month of National Happiness Day rather than just a week. It’s such a delight to look at and after all the rubbish everyone has been suffering with Covid and Lockdown, this would certainly make us feel a bit more positive. I really enjoyed this donut. Definitely one to look out for again next year.
