Hello everyone. I’m on my second Easter donut from Krispy Kreme. The Egg-splosion was the first one I had, now I’ve moved onto the Cracking Honeycomb Crunch.
Krispy Kreme Easter Collection - CRACKING HONEYCOMB CRUNCH
”Rich caramel centre, dipped in white chocolate flavour coating and scattered with honeycomb pieces and caramel swirls.”
This donut has a lovely white chocolate icing and it did have the little honeycomb pieces across the top with the swirl of caramel. It did look like how it was advertised. When I got into this donut, it was oozing with caramel. I mean there was a lot of caramel. It was dripping out of the donut. I loved that! I wish the Egg-plosion donut had the same amount of filling. The caramel was so silky and smooth and it had a strong caramel taste. It was nice to get the crunch of the honeycomb with some mouthfuls. The white chocolate was good, but I would have liked it ti taste a bit more creamy. I didn’t think I would like this donut as I’ve seen so many caramel donuts on Krispy Kreme’s menu over the past year or so, but this one was surprisingly good.
Lots of delicious caramel all the way through this donut. If you love caramel, you’ll love this.
