Good morning my friends, a great food for today ready at very short time, let’s see this happen together

Ingredients

4 tbsp. olive oil
500 gr. ground beef or mixed (300 gr. beef & 200 gr. pork)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, grated
salt
freshly ground pepper
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 grains of allspice
1/4 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. tomato paste
100 ml red wine
500 gr. peeled, grated tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Heat the olive oil well in a saucepan. Add the minced meat, leaving it to deep fry for a while before starting to "break" it into small pieces with a wooden spoon.

  2. Saute the minced meat for 4-5 minutes, until it gets a little color.

  3. Add the onion and garlic, salt and freshly ground pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

  4. Add the cinnamon, the spice and the cumin, as well as the pulp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the aromas of the spices are released.

  5. When the pulp starts to "catch", quench with the wine and stir by scraping the bottom of the pot with a ladle, leaving no residue.

  6. Add the grated tomatoes, stir and lower the heat.

  7. Let the minced meat simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the sauce thickens and sets. While it is cooking, try and adjust the salt and pepper.

Enjoy your meal

Stay safe and healthy my friends and take care of your people

My best wishes from Greece
