How to Draw Eyeliner For Round Eyes

The main goal with Eyeliner For Round Eyes is to elongate the eye shape to make a natural balance. This creates a more flattering look than an eye shadow that is too narrow or heavy. A darker liner works best with lighter eyes, to bring out the color of the eye along with the eye color. A smaller brush works best to apply on a thin line. Here are some tips for applying eyeliner for round eyes:

Here are some tips for applying eyeliner for round eyes: Tip One: To apply the liner to your eye, with either the liner pen or the pencil, you want to be sitting at about eye level so your entire eye lid is covered. Then use the small tip of the eyeliner brush to draw a line about two to three shades darker than your natural eye color or the color of your eyebrow pencil. This will help your eyes look longer and wider. Then take the same small tip and dip it into the waterline at the bottom of the upper lid to fill in any gaps.

Tip Two: For those of you with larger round eyes that are harder to apply eyeliner around, use liquid eyeliner. This type of eyeliner gives you more control over how much dark or light you want to add. If you have small eyes, you can get away with not applying much but if you have larger eyes you will want to put more. It's kind of like putting a shadow on a large snow globe. You can create snow anywhere you want but you don't want too much because then it looks messy and you can't really see the effect.

Curl Eyelashes Easily

Tip Three: For those of you with moonlit eyes (also known as those that don't curl their lashes) a light liner works great. You can use either a thin eyeliner or one that comes on thick. For those that have smaller eyelashes the thin line gives them enough line to show through and still look fabulous. You may also choose to go with a lighter shade of eyeliner. It can be quite tricky when applying eyeliner on those with thick eyelashes because they may curl it a lot more easily giving you lines that are too dark.

Tip Four: For those with semi-open eyes a very simple application method is to simply open your eyes so that your lower lash line is clearly visible. Next, you take a cotton ball or swab and place it at the base of your upper third eye. After this, take a cotton ball or swab dipped in eyeliner and smudge it along your lower lash line starting from the edge of your lower lash line going till the middle of your eye.

This technique helps give you the appearance that you have opened your eyes. The trick is to make sure that the smudged liner is lined along your lower lash line. When applying eyeliner to your semi-open eyes, it helps to create a thicker stroke therefore creating the appearance of a wider area.

Entire Eyelid will Create New Appearance

Tip Five: When applying eyeliner for round eyes there is another tip that you may want to keep in mind. This is that applying the eyeliner in a diagonal (running) motion will help bring out a more dramatic effect. What you want to do is apply your eyeliner about one third of the way down your upper lash line and another one third of the way down your lower lash line.

Then reapply it and run your finger down your entire eyelid. This will create an illusion that you are opening up your eyes. In fact, running the finger along your entire eyelid will create the appearance that you are smiling.

Tip Six: Another simple tip for applying eyeliner for round eyes is that you need to apply the outer most third of your lid shade or base color and then use a white or off white highlight on the inside of your eyelids. Then use a little bit of eyeliner near your crease on the outer corners and blend this in. The only problem with doing this is that it doesn't seem as natural as it would if you were to actually move your eyes.

You also want to apply the eyeliner to your inner corners. This helps to define your eyes and bring out their natural beauty. The technique to use to apply eyeliner to your inner corners is to first wet your eyes with water and then apply the eyeliner to your inner corners with a white pencil.

The final tip that you will want to learn how to draw eye circles is how to draw a "star" or "star cluster". To do this, draw a thin line that runs from your lower lashes to the very outer edge of your eye. Once you have drawn this line, use a white pencil to draw a small circle on your lower eyelid. Once you have done this, use a black pencil to draw a thin line that runs along the outside of your star cluster. Then put on black eyelinerto define your star cluster and you are ready to go.
