Road to "Road to Denmark" - Trailer: Check ✔

Deutsch

I'm in a shopping frenzy ... after presenting my newly acquired one-man tent (this is the post) my ordered trailer has now arrived too. Unfortunately, with the joy also comes a little disappointment. You can find out why in THIS post.

As mentioned in my Introduce Post, I still need certain things in order to carry out my mission successfully. Tent (check), trailer (check), sleeping bag (not yet checked) and much more. As already mentioned, the trailer can now also be removed from the bucket list. I only know by the doorbell, then the box clatter and the DPD man disappeared into the mist again immediately. These parcel carriers are Ninjas. The pakage was massive. The Lego child in me wanted to unpack and set up the trailer right away.

(Was das Auseinanderbauen zusätzlich vereinfacht.)
In principle, the trailer arrived fully assembled. The thing can be folded up, which is very practical because I don't have to leave it standing around in the garden, but can stow it away in the hallway without it bothering anyone. The walls of the hanger are made of a plastic cover that is held together with Velcro. (Which also simplifies dismantling.) Before installation, the wheels are attached to an axle, which can also be put on the frame and removed again at any time. The top is loose and can simply be pulled over and pulled off. It is only held with its own tension, which is in no way problematic. The bottom of the hanger is sheet metal, which replaces the bell when driving, because it rattles like there's no tomorrow. I definitely have to come up with something to get rid of that. The drawbar seems fundamentally stable, it is simply attached and removed from the bike via the plug connection installed on the bike. (It can also be folded in if you want to stow the trailer. That's great.) But mostly when something is too good to be true, then it is too. (There has to be a bit of drama 😋)

I don't think a tire should look like this. After I inflated both tires I immediately noticed the massive egg on the left wheel. I can only speculate what the reason is. Either the hose is defective or the jacket is crooked. Nonetheless, I contacted the dealer and asked for a replacement. It remains to be seen how he reacts. In any case, I'm not going to bury my head in the sand or freak out now. (even if I like to freak out every now and then.) I strongly assume that this problem will be eliminated.

If YOU are also interested in the trailer, then here again the Amazon link (without reflink etc., you already know from last time.)

At the time I am writing the article here, the thing costs just under 110 € again.

Well then, fix tires, load a crate of beer and off to camping. The mini tour can then take place shortly.

If you have read this far, then again thank you very much. Keep it real and hopefully until the next post.

There is still a long way to go, but the destination can already be seen on the horizon.
