Well goodness me, it's already the end of April! It's been an insanely busy month with everyone chipping in to make being in the Natural Medicine community awesome!!! Here's what we've been up to - plus, a chance to win some HIVE!
Earth Day Challenge Update
We are so pleased with the number of participants in the challenge. There have been so many of you and we are working hard to read through and comment on each and every one. We are truly blown away by the wonderful responses and thank those who have taken part. The challenge closed on Friday 23rd April and we will be awarding the prizes for those who posted up until that date. Make sure you have added the link to the comment section of the post to ensure your entry is considered for one of the prizes. You have until Tuesday 27th April to put it in there if you have not done so yet. We are extremely grateful to @nainaztengra for adding another 20 Hive to the prize pool. So two posts will also get a chance to win 10 Hive each alongside the original prizes. The winners post will be announced this Saturday, May 1st.
Lotus Indonesia
We've been supporting #lotusindonesia content via @lotusindonesia to promote great content from Indo users. @moex-photografy had to step down because of real life committments, but our dear @anggreklestari has taken the lead. Next Monday there will be an Indonesian medicinal plant challenge where anyone can enter and win HIVE, so watch this space!
Hive Marketing
We're continuing to market via social media - check out our Instagram! How adorable is Zion, @senorcoconut's gorgeous puppy!
WE NEED your help though as content creation is time consuming and HARD. All we need is an awesome quote about wellness from any HIVE user, including yourself. You'll be credited of course, and any quotes chosen will win 1 HIVE to you and 1 HIVE to the person worth quoting! You can see this post by @farmlife as an example. Ongoing Challenges, OCD Support, Mental Health Badges
@justinparke is hosting the Plant Based challenge every month so be sure to join in. The Hive Buzz #mentalhealthawareness badge challenge is still being awarded each month, so keep those great posts coming. Consider voting for @arcange as a witness.
It's also important to vote for @acidyo and OCD as a witness as well because of the support they give to #naturalmedicine content. We have 3 #naturalmedicine content curators looking out for your best work, so always show your best game and those votes could be coming your way!
Powering Up
Yep it's PUD day in about 5 days time - power up like you mean it! If you're a frequent #naturalmedicine blogger and power up, you could win a delegation for a month - get in touch with @riverflows with your screenshot of your powerup and she'll see what she can do!

We have lots of great curators looking out for your content to support through the Lotus Recommends project too, but this also means we're keeping an eye out for plagiarism and votefarming, and inappropriate use of tags. Remember going for a walk in the forest is a travel post, not a #naturalmedicine post, unless you're explaining about the benefits of forest bathing or something similiar! We're downvoting shitposts with the @lotusmud account and muting them in the community - nothing personal, but we like to keep the community fair and clean for all.
Oh, and speaking of downvotes, don't you worry about that mosquito that's been DV'ing our content - pfft - we don't know why, but he's free to do so if he choose, and we wish him a happy life.
