Five Ways To Create Occupational Wellness You Must Know


Today we will be discussing "Occupational Wellness." It is "personal satisfaction and enrichment from one's work." and is one of SAMSHA's 8 Dimensions Of Wellness. Here are five simple ways to boost your intellectual wellness.

1.) Volunteer - If you are on disability or are retired, you can still volunteer. Volunteering can give you the same enjoyment that you could get at a paid position. So even if you don't enjoy your job, you can volunteer to do something enjoyable

2.) Work For Yourself - If you don't enjoy your job, why not follow your passion. You can turn your passions into a part-time blog or website. These can even turn into full-time businesses.

3.) Follow Your Passion - Working at a job you hate for extra money will destroy you in the end. Instead, find work that you enjoy. If you enjoy your work, you will never work a day in your life.

4.) Watch For Burnout - Take care of yourself and your stress. Once you reach a state of burnout, it becomes hard to enjoy your work

5.) Customize Your Workspace - If you have a workspace, customize it to be your own. Doing so can be a home away from home. Make it inviting, and you will get more enjoyment from your job.
