While most of our blogs are centered around our musical projects, performances and ambitions; every once in a while we get excited about a DeFi project that we feel we have to share! Right now we are really high on FastSwap, an entire ecosystem with a myriad of different products in the arsenal.
At its care, FastSwap is a DEX which like many others was designed to reward stakers for providing liquidity to the different pools on the exchange. First launch happened on ERC-20 back in January 2021 and a series of yield farms paid in $FAST had been offered to incentivize early investors to provide liquidity to the DEX. This had quite some success, but the crippling gas fees charged on the ETH network had left out a lot of people who wanted to participate. Thus, at the start of the BNB Boom, the development team felt it was time to build a parallel DEX on the BSC Mainnet.
When launching on BSC, the development team expanded the scope of FAST, building an entire ecosystem with a second native token: Duke Inu. Duke Inu began as a meme token, but with the long term focus of having an underlying use case. This meant building a system of Vaults, Farms, and eventually a Launchspot that could be used for other products leveraging the Duke Inu community. The early explosion of Duke Inu helped bring a lot of interested parties into the FastSwap ecosystem, and now with Duke fully integrated into FastSwap, there is a lot to like about the future of FastSwap.
Over the weekend a series of new farms were launched on FastSwap.Finance to incentivize new liquidity providers on Pancake Swap and Fast Swap for various FAST/DUKE pairs. The starting APR for these pools was approximately 3000% and remains quite high on some of the pools. We encourage you to pop over to the FastSwap App and poke around a bit. Perhaps if you've got a little extra BNB laying around you might want to put a little in a farm and earn some rewards! There's a feeling in the air that with the start of the second Bull-leg on the horizon, it could be the perfect time to load up on good projects that have the potential to exponentially grow into the end of the year!
