Market Updates
The purpose of the Creative Coin Fund is to provide the artists of Hive with a substantial CCC upvote, and to make that vote meaningful by supporting the steadily rising price of Creative Coin.
We're supporting the price of CCC with two mechanisms: the daily market purchase and the base buy-in order.
The daily market purchase is a market order for CCC of 10 to 15 Hive daily. This continues unchanged from last week.
The base buy-in order is a limit order meant to establish the price support for the market. We're raising the base buy-in price by 2 percent each week, on Thursdays.

Our base buy-in order (of varying sizes) has been standing since June, and we've made the daily market purchase every day since the Fund was established in May.
It's been great to see the market outpacing our buy-in order this past week. Currently the highest bid is .006060 Hive.
New Investments
SPS: We are receiving a small amount of SPS daily from our BRO holdings. We're staking up 10 percent and selling the rest to support our daily market purchase and the base buy-in order.
That 10/90 ratio is applied to all the stakeable Hive Engine tokens we receive.
HBD: We invested 72 Hive into HBD this week, and boosted our HBD savings. All HBD earned from author payouts is going into savings as well. The interest will be used for Hive Power, two-thirds of which we delegate to earn Hive Engine tokens.
We currently delegate to leo.voter (pays LEO), brofi (BRO), and thisisawesome (ALIVE and CTP).
Delegation APR
As detailed in our delegation announcement post, the annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the fund will vary based on market conditions.
Twenty-one percent is the minimum rate: when the average price of CCC declines month to month, it will be increased by 2 percent to incentivize Creative Coin investment.
The average price for June was .005309, and it increased for July to .005831, so the rate will remain at 21 percent for the month of August.
Curators Wanted
Thank you again to all our delegators. We're working to add curators to our team, to ensure that we are fully utilizing the CCC entrusted to us. With only one person curating, we aren't able to hit the 20 percent voting power mark every day.
We have a Spanish language curator lined up and hope to have him started this week. We're still looking for someone to focus on graphic art posts. If you're interested, message us on Discord at cliffagreen #1444.
Curators will be paid 1,000 CCC weekly for their work.
