Group sizes 5 to 2, suspended dining as Singapore strengthens the measures COVID-19.

After an increase in COVID 19 Community cases on Friday minister of education Lawrence Wong said that the current size of group meetings allowed will be reduced from five people to two (May 14).
The new measures will take effect from 16 May until 13 June, according to what was labeled by the Health Ministry as "Phase 2 (High Alert).

Also, F&B dining will not be permitted, Mr Wong said. This includes indoor and outdoor hawker centres, food courts.

"We are going to take tighter measures around the more hazardous settings, and these more hazardous settings are where people meet up without their masks in an indoor environment," Minister said.
"All dinners must be stopped... Only take-off and delivery options are available to all F&B establishments. Wedding banquets must also stop because it is a dinner activity." In accordance with this.

Minister said that the cap of five separate visitors per family per day will be reduced to two separate visitors per household per day.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a separate news release that "Individuals should keep their total number of social gatherings to not more than two a day, either to another household, or to meet friends or members of the family in a public place."
