Today I wanted to take a look at the 2006 movie "Apocalypto" - once again Mel Gibson is showcasing his talent for creating raw believable and beautiful films.
Apocalypto tells the story of a small tribal community who are about to have their lives turned upside down...
This movie is a absolutely brutal but a very interesting insight as to what life may have been like many yeas ago in a ancient civilization, I have not seen anything else for the time period to compare this to but I though it was an excellent film.
Incredible sets, a real experience watching this film particularly in the later scenes - I would say this movie is an assault on the senses and well worth a watch.
