Una de las zonas que no conocía de Gibraltar es Punta Europa.
Para llegar tienes que investigar un poco y tomar el camino dirección los túneles del peñón.
Íbamos con el Smart así que imaginaros lo mal que lo pasé cuando cruzábamos esos túneles, pero he de decir que está todo muy bien cuidado y conservado.
One of the areas that I did not know about Gibraltar is Punta Europa.
To get there you have to do some research and take the path towards the tunnels of the rock.
We were going with the Smart so imagine how bad it was when we crossed those tunnels, but I have to say that everything is very well cared for and preserved.
El faro, desde épocas antiguas, se utilizaba para indicar a los tripulantes de los barcos para saber dónde estaban ubicados. Te indica que ahí hay tierra y según la frecuencia que tenga ese faro, la miras en una carta náutica y te indica en qué posición estás exactamente.
The lighthouse, since ancient times, was used to indicate to the crew of the ships to know where they were located. It tells you that there is land there and depending on the frequency of that lighthouse, you look at it on a nautical chart and it tells you exactly where you are.
Cuando vi el cañón me recordó a mi ciudad, a Melilla, cuya historia se remonta a un cañón.

When I saw the canyon it reminded me of my city, Melilla, whose history goes back to a canyon.

Espero que os gusten las fotos que realicé ese día. Me gustó mucho el lugar, tan próximo al mar y donde podías ver a muchos turistas como yo disfrutando de las vistas.
