Ineos Grenadier M1 First Look & Prototype Off Road

Autumn is well under way up here in The North, and just a few days ago, INEOS ventured our way in order to bring their prototype Grenadier M1 Station Wagon on tour...

It aims to seamlessly combine a 4x4 with refinement and comfort, so that it delivers in all areas, and has been built from the ground up to deliver this.

The prototype is on tour to thoroughly test it's capabilities over a wide range of terrains for over a million miles, so that when it launches, INEOS can say - with certainty - that it is ready for anything.

Ben had the chance to passenger in one as it was taken off road, and it was quite a ride! With technology only where it's needed, the Grenadier is a capable 4x4 that connects you with all surfaces, and keeps you comfortable whilst doing so.

The interior has all the mod cons you see in a car, with functionality that takes its inspiration from a whole host of commercial vehicles, including aircraft.

It's also capable of towing 3.5 tonnes, and has plenty of room in the back too - there is talk of a pickup variant that would be able to carry 1 tonne on the bed.

There's still a lot of facts and figures that are waiting to be confirmed, including wading depth, kerb weight, and angles...but what better way to confirm them than by going on tour?

The next destination for testing is in Morocco - I'm sure it will handle the sand dunes with ease.

Thank you, all...and enjoy!

Annabelle. 😊
