Sunscreen works as a protective barrier on our skin, making sure that the sun's UV rays do not have such an aggressive impact on our skin, especially when we spend many hours in the sun, whether for work or leisure. Frequent exposure to the sun's rays can cause blemishes on our skin, promote skin aging, and in the worst cases even cancer.
We usually have the false idea that when we are at home or when the day is cloudy we should not use sunscreen but this is false, we must remember that in either case, the sun's rays are still present but probably will be in less intensity.
There are many brands and degrees of protection, it is advisable to visit a dermatologist to evaluate not only our skin type but also our particular case.

El protector solar funciona como una barrera protectora en nuestra piel, haciendo que los rayos UV del sol no tengan un impacto tan agresivo en nuestra piel, especialmente cuando pasamos muchas horas al sol, ya sea por trabajo o por ocio. La exposición frecuente a los rayos solares puede provocar manchas en nuestra piel, favorecer el envejecimiento cutáneo y, en el peor de los casos, incluso el cáncer.
Solemos tener la falsa idea de que cuando estamos en casa o cuando el día está nublado no debemos usar protector solar pero esto es falso, debemos recordar que en cualquiera de los dos casos, los rayos del sol siguen presentes pero probablemente serán en menor intensidad.
Hay muchas marcas y grados de protección, es recomendable visitar a un dermatólogo para que evalúe no sólo nuestro tipo de piel sino también nuestro caso particular.
