ATX 🍺 Pub

This Pub will open weekly on the Pubs Community with the purpose of acting as a place to meet, socialize, exchange information, get free stuff, you get the idea for HIVE's sake!

📶 Frequency

Those events will be called Gatherings and will happen every week (@forykw is on UTC+13) starting on Fridays Saturdays (~9PM NZT) with the intent of having maximum exposure during the weekend time. Then, a few more extra days to cure the booze, and we are back again on Friday.

Want to be the face of this Pub's image?

We are asking for applications to create images for the Pub. Can be an NFT (donated to @atexoras.pub), or a direct share with all rights and exclusivity mentioned/negotiated with @forykw (the Pub manager).

Drop any intentions on the gathering events, mentioning the manager (@forykw).

The current default rate is 10% of the gathering's post curation rewards for applicants when using their image. We might also rotate between previous images depending on the occasion (not yet defined).

Giveaways on every Gathering!

The Pub will be giving away one (or more) NFT every gathering to any of its visitors. For that, we will be using this tool (source code).

The owner will always try to make sure your visit is valued! The Pub is a place for everyone, we wanna reach out and show the potential of this community. Although, please take into consideration that the upvoting potential of the Pub is over Hive-Engine (Hive Power of the Pub will be kept at a minimum to run the Pub services) - until otherwise stated.

In addition, with the restructuring of the Pub (which happened on 22/10/2021 - The Optimization, as described below), the strategy of accepting rewards changed.

22/10/2021 - The Optimization

The Pub suffered a re-structural organization! In order to avoid too much repetition, the static content moved into this post. The dynamic content will stay at the weekly gatherings with the purpose of capturing more active communication and easy-to-read content.

In addition, the usually burned rewards (90%) will now be split into the following format:

• 80% to @reward.app in order to return liquid HIVE to the Pub, and we will move the 4% default author rewards that usually go to curators, to 10%!
• 5% to @peakd due to having the platform that currently supports the format of this Pub
• 5% to support new projects at @hive.fund

The entire amount of author rewards from each gathering will be used to purchase BEE tokens and support the upcoming upgrades of the Pub in 2022.

5/11/2021 - Phase [II], Party Hard

Two parties scheduled, "Spree BEE Party" (raise 2000 BEE) and "ATX Rocking Party" (launch the distribution and command bot). ETA is unknown for now but likely sometime in 2022.

More information about where BEE will be used for: (updated bellow)

• 1000 BEE will be spent on the Diesel Pool creation (ATX+?)
• 1000 BEE will be used to create the ATX Fund

Info: The DEC component provided/owned by @forykw in this phase, was returned back. Read the redefinition of this phase ahead.

In addition (provided by @forykw):

• 1000 BEE to activate Staking on ATX (before we announce the "ATX Rocking Party")
• 100 BEE to create the ATX distribution for the "ATX Rocking Party"

Beginning when the "ATX Rocking Party" takes place, the Pub will continuously be depositing (until otherwise announced) its Hive-Engine tokens into the ATX distribution to empower liquidity holders.

4/6/2022 - Phase [II] Redefined

The launch of the ATX token will not be entirely supported by @forykw (all BEE expenses above and whatever others it might exist) and the Pub's funds will be used to gather the community around the Pub and the ATX token when launched (including but not limited on feeding those tokens into the ATX Diesel Pool).

This means that the Party Hard phase will still have the two parties as planed ("Spree BEE Party" and "ATX Rocking Party"), but the way it will be technically executed (via the ATX distribution) will change from the above plans (mainly because the Fund creation might be moved to a different timeframe).

Hence the priority has now shifted to:

• Use 1000 BEE for the creation of a Diesel Pool (ATX+?)
• Use 100 BEE to create the 1st ATX distribution for the "ATX Rocking Party"

There are a couple of NFT's along the way that might enable users with additional features, but it's all yet just thoughts.

This will be shared during the 7-days curation time of the gathering (post) weekly shared and can be repeated up to 3 times (max of a month) without further costs.

This Pub is usually shared on #Twitter, at the Dark Soul @forkyishere account, and posted on the Pubs Community, reblogged by @forykw. Other exposures might apply.

🤝 Sharing and Why?

Since the bound reason to run this Pub is to basically get more attention to HIVE within HIVE first, and then externally, it is obvious that sharing these gatherings will be important. Help out if you can.

This is also a place where potential new users can get quick attention. Hence, the Pub can be a great tool to quickly onboard more users. There are more people around, there are more eyes watching, etc.

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ Looking for work?

The Pub is looking for employees. If you feel like you could help, submit your application below. We are looking for the following:

• (active) 4 x Pub Admins (Core Team Members) - This will be an attempt to start building something for the Pub. @forykw has other ideas but due to time constraints, expansion of those ideas requires a Team in order to go forward. And most likely the beginning of his Entrepreneur career? Who knows!
• (active) Pub Helpers (currently unlimited) - These users will be given posting key authority and will be given the state of Pub Helpers on the Discord server. The idea is simple, help with what you can in terms of engagement or upvoting comments under the Pub posts (previous ones are valid too). Upvoting outside of the Pub is strictly discouraged (don't wanna say forbidden because you have that authority, but please don't do it) as it defeats the purpose of the Pub.

🧪 Shared Node

At this gathering, the Pub started exploring a "shared node" on DLUX side-chain.

Send at least 100 DLUX to the pub account (@atexoras.pub) via https://www.dlux.io (for example) and add in the memo "shared witness participation". Then, @forykw or other Admins will lock that amount in and recalculate the bellow percentages. From there after you will get any equivalent rewards (% wise).

At any time if an "individual" wishes to exit the shared node, this should be communicated at any active gathering and her/his DLUX will be unstaked (4 weeks) and returned to its owner.
