I wanted to share a few paintings of a friend of mine. She had done these in art class here in Davenport. I do not have much art skill but value those who can pick up the brush or pencil. This first one reminds me of that song from Heart, "Dog and Butterfly.

Here we have the friendly snail that greets us on canvas. It sure is giving us the eye, but it enjoys life at a snails pace. It is nice to take a moment away from the hassles of the world and appreciate the special things in life... like dogs, butterflies, snails... and the art of friends.
