Helix pomatia (Roman snail) looking for feed -18 close up photos

Hello everyone!

Is it really summer? According to the calendar it is June 2, but the weather is not. For several days it has been raining, and it is cold as if in the fall.
I was on a walk in the evening, after the rain. Roman snails were very abundant on the trails, in the grass. Apparently snails like rain. Of course, snails are more active at twilight and at night than during the day. During the day they crawl out in cloudy weather or after rain.

This large mollusk seems so cute to some people. I watched as the snail searched for feed.

Helix pomatia (Roman Snail) sensed my presence and so it often hid in its shell.

Still, I managed to take shots and capture her movement in search of something tasty.
